Real estate has been a passion of mine since I was first licensed in 1999. While I never considered myself as a "salesperson", I have found my role in this profession as more of a "consultant and advocate" for my customers and clients. The real estate climate is consistent in one regard - you can always count on it changing. I will guide you through the process of buying your home or selling your home and treat your transaction as if it were my own. It's a stressful time where important decisions are made and it's my job to make it as easy and painless as possible with some added fun along the way.
La Tierra Properties, NM LLC was born out of wanting to provide real estate services that was all about my client and that did not include big "corporate" brokerage interests. I find that size does not matter, only the integrity and skills of the Broker you have entrusted to represent you. You can be assured that we have your best interest in mind first and foremost.
Originally from San Jose CA, I began my real estate career in Phoenix AZ, and in 2005 relocated to the land of enchantment. And it truly is a very special to live! In giving back to the community, I spend time as a board member for Albuquerque Del Norte Rotary group, as a member of the Junior League, as the 2011 President of the Women's Council of REALTORS®, and a member of the Professional Standards Committee at the Greater Albuquerque Area REALTOR® board.
We would be thrilled to have you as one of our happy clients and "family" members.
Designations: ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative; CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert; CNE - Certified Negotiation Expert; CRS - Certified Residential Specialist; GRI - Graduate, Realtor Institute; SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist.

Lisa Giandomenico, or “Lisa G.”, as she is often called, earned her New Mexico Real Estate Broker's License in 1999. Her extensive experience, as well as care and concern for her clients’ needs, makes her a valuable resource for those interested in buying or selling real estate in the Albuquerque Metro Area. Her clients describe her as “a pleasure to work with”, “very knowledgeable”, and “the best Realtor we have ever had”. Another client wrote, she “handled the transaction with a high degree of professionalism. She knows her stuff and works hard.” When sending an email to a friend who needed help, one of her clients wrote, “I would trust this woman with my own bank accounts.” Lisa is the kind of Realtor who keeps you informed at all times, is incredibly thorough, and stays in touch as your real estate resource for years to come. She prides herself on exceptional service and would rather share her business than take on too many clients at one time. If you are looking for someone you can count on to return your calls promptly and deliver on what she promises, you have found your broker. Her expertise in the Albuquerque Marketplace is extensive. Her commitment to her responsibilities means that she is "in the know" in Albuquerque. She knows the area, what is customary when negotiating and the repair issues to watch out for. She can point you to the most reputable and affordable lenders and home inspectors. Her longevity in the business means she knows who you can trust for professional and caring service for every step of a real estate transaction. Lisa is also recognized as a top professional by her peers. She has been awarded “top producer” on multiple occasions including the monthly top ten in sales. When she competed nationally in the "Realty One" surveys completed by clients, she placed in the top 2% of Realtors nationwide and took First Place among 200 agents in her company for the 2005 Service Excellence Award. She is always recognized as a top broker when judged for customer service. Prior to her life in New Mexico, Lisa grew up in Miami, Florida. She then moved to Evanston, Illinois, to study at Northwestern University in 1987. She graduated on the Dean’s List in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. She planned to teach, practice law or go on to get her Master’s in Social Work, but life had other plans in store for her. Now, as she puts it, "Selling real estate involves a little of everything I love. Teaching, counseling and helping others are what makes me love my job and the legal aspect of real estate is always interesting." As Lisa explains, “I am most excited about real estate when I am teaching a first time homebuyer about the process or hearing from someone that has bought and sold five houses, that I did a great job. It’s my clients that make me feel proud of what I do and they are why I have so much fun doing my job.” I strive for exceptional service, the highest standard of integrity and the feeling of community that comes from serving others. The transition from one home and community to the next is a major undertaking and a Realtor you can rely on can make all the difference. Please feel free to call me anytime to discuss living in Albuquerque or to get together for an initial consultation. I am also happy to share references with you.
